I read about this wonderful place in a magazine when I first moved to Brisbane in March and I finally got there this weekend - and I can tell you, it is more fabulous than I even could ever had imagined. From the minute you walk in you feel like you've stumbled into a warehouse in the French countryside (not that I have been to France, YET). This shop meets cafe is owned by Brisbane-ite Jennifer and her French husband, who pop over to France a couple of times a year to search for treasures to ship back to this lovely shop located in Albion, Brisbane. While I sat and tapped away on my laptop I enjoyed a rhubarb pastry that was to die for and a delicious flat white - definitely the best way to get though university work! I didn't buy anything but will definitely be back with wallet in hand.
Warning - do not go here if you have somewhere to be, you need to give yourself a whole lotta time to look through all of the treasures and sit down in the lovely setting for a coffee and a pastry.
